£300
A Chinese jade snuff bottle, Qing Dynasty, 19th century. Decorated in relief with a tree in a landscape, height 7.5cm, width 3.5cm, depth 2cm. Private collection of a Parisian lady (1876-1964), whence by family descent to the present South West Cornwall vendor. This opulent piece has a small chip to the lip and to the foot and, intriguingly, what appears to be a small scroll located within. The images reflect the colour on the decoration.
