A late 19th Century sapphire and diamond-set locket pendant and chain.
The high-carat gold oval hinged locket is inset with a cabochon sapphire encircled by a row of old brilliant cut diamonds and suspended from a curb-link chain. The interior is fitted with two glazed compartments containing portrait photographs.
Diamonds approx. 0.18 carat total, chain stamped 15C.
Lengths: pendant 3.5cm; chain 42 cm approx.
Gross weight approx. 14.3 grams.
