Royal Marine Artillery 1879-1905 Officer's helmet plate, a fused grenade with 18 points to the flame, laurel wreath around voided strap inscribed Per Mare Per Terram with blue enamel backing, Gibraltar in scroll below the fuse, in the centre a silver globe, fouled anchor below strap, 3 reverse loops, some damage to the enamel backing, otherwise extremely fine.
