Portrait of a Lady - oil on canvas attributed to Allan Ramsay Scottish (1713-1784) The Sitter is reputedly 'Lady Ochiltree'.

Provenance:
PHILIPS Auctioneers Edinburgh Ochiltree Castle Sale West Lothian Lot 46 10th September 1984 Sold to a private collector-entered BONHAMS 'The Scottish Sale' auction in 2007 and sold again to a private collector. According to the family, various experts at this time have viewed this painting and of the opinion it is Ramsay's unique style.
