A late 16th century Anglo-German ‘Nonesuch’ chest,
The facade profusely inlaid with towers and other architectural features, the hinged cover locking with original key, with inlaid borders to the sides and cover, flanked with iron handles, raised on shaped bracket supports.
95cm wide, 49cm deep, 65cm high

generally of good colour throughout, several losses to the facade, age cracking and minor splits in various places.
Seemingly with original lock, the cover with a later lock bar.
Hinges seemingly original.
