A SECOND WORLD WAR GERMAN SWORD AND SCABBARD BY E. & F. HORSTER. With an 88cm curved, pointed, single edged and fullered blade, marked to the back 'E&F Horster Waffenfabrik, Solingen'. The black celluloid grip within a shaped stirrup knuckle bow and back strap, the cross piece with forward-facing quillon. One langet with a third Reich eagle and swastika badge (possibly later applied). With blue and silver bullion sword knot. In a black finished scabbard with single ring suspension. 104cm overall. *CR Surface wear throughout, dents and paint loss to scabbard.
