EXTREMELY RARE ROLEX SUBMARINER 3,6,9 DIAL REFERENCE 6200 / 6538 CIRCA 1956, circular gloss black 3,6 9 dial with no submariner text, mercedes hands, bi-directional bezel, big crown with Brevet engraving, 38mm stainless steel 6538 case, Rolex stainless steel 7206 riveted bracelet, clasp dated 1969, 80 end links, screw down case back, inner case back engraved reference "6538" / "I.56", Rolex calibre 1030 automatic movement, 25 jewels. The watch comes with a Rolex box. Auctioneers Note: This stunning 3,6,9 dial was often found in the 6200 reference Submariner, running between 1955 to 1956. We believe this 6538 case dated 1956 left Rolex with this 6200 dial due to an overlap in the production years as well as other known examples around.
