Amended description - A pair of late 19th Century gilt consul tables, each mounted with a white marble top (tops not matching), each supported on a single leg, applied decorated frieze, height 78cm (2), some damages and repairs

More Information

Amended condition report - The tops of the tables do not match - they are cut to a similar outline, but one of the tops is bevelled and the other is not. Presumably the plain top is a later replacement. There are no cracks or breaks to the marble, but there are some nibbles along the underside edges of the top. There is some loss to moulded gesso detail in places.
Slightly different dimensions to each table - As you look at the main image, the left hand table measures 81cm high, 79cm wide and 42cm deep. The table on the right has the bevelled top and measures 80cm high, 76cm wide and is 42cm deep.
