This 1972 VW Type 2 Bay Window is presented in Blue with a Blue and Grey interior. It has recently had extensive restoration works carried out by Dormobile Ltd in The New Forest. This includes replacement wheel arch, front axle, rear cross member, brakes, shocks, a full respray, and more. The restoration works are fully documented with images and invoices. Furthermore, it comes with an extensive folder containing images and invoices of previous restoration works, services, and MOTs from the 5 previous owners.
The vehicle was in the hands of 1 owner from new until 1999, and it then changed hands again in 2003, 2007, 2008, 2012, until it was acquired by the vendor last year. For a short time last summer, it sported vinyl decals showcasing the ‘Original Camper Converter’. The current MOT expires in December 2022, and the odometer reads 16,000, which is unverified.
