A group of three Japanese Satsuma pottery miniature vases, Meiji period, together with a later Satsuma bowl, comprising one of squat baluster form, decorated with fourteen figures playing various outdoor games including flying a kite and spinning tops, gilt signature seal mark to base, 7.8 by 9.0cm high, a mallet form vase with knopped neck, decorated with six roundels of flowers and mythical beasts, red, black and gilt painted six character mark to base, 4.9 by 9.5cm high, a circular bowl decorated internally with two figures by a lake and hills, externally with trailing purple wisteria, two character mark to base, possibly Hakuzan, 8.4 by 4.3cm high, and a bowl with squared rim, decorated internally with fifteen seated figures, one reading a scroll, and a dragon, further figures to the outside, marked to base, 17.5 by 8.5cm.
