12 IN 2 CIRCLES CANCEL - GRANDE SAVANNE - ON 1861(?) 1d BROWN ON COVER TO PORT LOUIS; Fine 5 Apr. 1863 E (a few tiny pin-holes mainly in flap & clear of stamps) to "Port Louis" with an 1861(?) 1d Brown pair nicely tied by very fine "12" numerals in two circles with a faint matching "GRANDE SAVANNE" cds; there is a Port Louis arrival cds (6 Apr.) on the reverse. Rare and very attractive example of this 2-Ring numeral cancel on cover. Exhibition Quality.
