ENGLISH SCHOOL (MID 19TH CENTURY) - Portrait of a young lady wearing a blue dress standing beside a tree, watercolour, framed, 23cm x 18cm, frame size 36cm x 32cm.
watercolour is slightly faded and very lightly foxed otherwise good. Presented in a repainted gilt and gesso frame. Possibly original frame, has been removed and mounted on to green card. New Backboard - transcribed 'painted by W.P.(?) Chapman 1846', very light foxing to image, does not appear to be cut down.
