rectangular, decorated to the cover with a printed scene, titled to the inside Entrance to Brompton Square, the interior sectioned into four compartments of different dimensions, the side of the box decorated with an applied blue, black and gilt 'tartan'; together with a 19th Century advertising page turner, for The Eastern Telegraph Company Limited, decorated to either side with maps and a calendar for 1896 to the handle.
