A VICTORIAN SILVER INKSTAND, of shaped rectangular form, fitted with a central deep rectangular open container engraved with crests, flanked by a pair of covered wells or taper holders, egg and dart lower rims, pen trays to either side of the base, on winged shell and lion paw feet, makers Daniel & Charles Houle, London 1880, approximate weight 29.6ozt, 922 grams, approximately 27cm x 20cm (condition: one nut is missing to the underside of the base, stands level on a flat surface, centre compartment missing a cover or jar)
