Bernie Marsden - stage used 1970 Fender Champ-Amp guitar amplifier, made in USA, ser. no. A19283 (UK voltage conversion)

*Bernie bought this amplifier from Glen Cornick, circa 1973, when he was with Wild Turkey

Bernie later used this amp with Whitesnake to run his tubed voice box, which was then fed through the band's PA system

This amp features on page 365 of Bernie's book 'Tales of Tone and Volume', where he tells a story about the time that Jeff Beck played 'The Beast' through this amp backstage in the Orchid Ballroom dressing room in Purley. Bernie was then playing for his close Friend Cozy Powell, in his new band 'Hammer'
