A Chinese Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) Sancai glazed pottery funerary offering table, the altar form table picked out with green and ochre glazes, with single candlestick, height 20cm, width 32cm, depth 19cm. some damage. (2)

NB - Offering tables such as this were buried with the deceased in the belief that he or she could enjoy their favourite foods in the afterlife. This table is lacking the offerings but retains a single candlestick.

Both sides have previously been broken and restored.
Damage age and wear, with lacking glazes, due to age and wear.
