£180
A pair of Sevres porcelain vases and covers, 18th century, of tapering ovoid form with ormolu mounts and lions mask handles, each painted with panels of maidens and cherubs, signed ‘Simonin’, each 37cm high (2) (at fault)
One vase shows a full height hairline crack to the body and further cracks, losses and discolouration to the cover, and is slightly loose on its base. The other appears to be structurally sound. Both vases show age-related fine surface wear, minor rubbing to the gilt highlights, tarnishing to the ormolu mounts and the odd small glazing fault.
