An antique .65 bore French 1854 dated St Etienne percussion carbine - overall length 43 inches - with brass and steel mounts. Lockplate with makers name and "De St Etienne". The stock with various markings "460" and NR over 1 over 1/87. Crack in stock to fore end of the lock. Various inspection marks throughout the metalwork
