Great Britain: Middlesbrough & Guisbrough Railway Company, £25 share, 1852, #339, early steam train with factory and town in background, black on pink paper. Lower right corner cut away as cancellation. Incorporated on 17th June 1852. A 9 mile line connecting the towns and forming a junction with the Middlesborough and Redcar line, opened in 1854. It was absorbed by the Stockton and Darlington Railway, and became part of the North Eastern Railway from 1863. VF.
