An album containing a pretty Victorian paper lace Valentine card (see 1st photo), 15 silk handkerchiefs and a collection of approximately 45 of the ‘Spanish lady’ embroidered silk cards – a few of which have been postally used, and date from the late 1950s. Of the postcards, 22 are standard-size and the first 23 in the album are modern size. The condition is generally good. The album is a modern. There is also a Royal Air Force ‘with my love’ card (not a postcard). The paper lace card’s message from one sweetheart to another is ‘Accept this tribute from a heart that’s thine.’ The handkerchiefs (see 2nd photo) include several with a strong Welsh theme.
