SUNDERLAND GRANT MACKAY ARTWARE WHISKY JUG. WG p83. 6.9ins tall. Amongst the most impressive of the Doulton produced whisky jugs in a fabulous blue green shiny stoneware glaze. Elaborately decorated all round with ornate raised sprig like designs, front salt glazed cartouche region includes white sprigged thistle and leaves shape. Something of a very rare offering. Undamaged exc/A1.
