AN SUBSTANTIAL GEORGE V SILVER TEA SERVICE, to include teapot, sugar bowl and milk jug, Maker Atkin Brothers, Truro Works, Matilda Street, Sheffield c.1897. Each piece is finely decorated with a central blank cartouche surrounded by elaborate floral scrolling patterns, with c handles. Teapot with finial to domed hinged lid, bone inlay to handle, all pieces supported by shaped base. Dimensions: teapot 16cm high x 17cm wide handle to spout. Weight: teapot 20 troy oz; jug 5 troy oz; bowl 9 troy oz approx.
