THREE PIECES OF LATE 18TH CENTURY CREAMWARE PRINTED AND PAINTED TO COMMEMORATE REVEREND JOHN WESLEY, comprising a bullet shaped tea pot, the front printed with side profile of Wesley surrounded by fifteen titled preachers and two angels, the back printed with motto 'Kindly take this Gift of mine The Gift and giver I hope is thine And tho' the value is but small A loving heart is worth it all', inscribed 'TM B 1790' around the spout, height 12cm, a saucer monochrome printed with a titled side profile portrait of 'The Revd John Wesley A.M.' surrounded by moths and butterflies, and a mug printed and painted with 'THE REVD. JOHN WESLEY A.M. FELLOW OF LINCN. COLLEGE OXFD', height 11cm (3) (Condition Report: the tea pot lid is restored and appears stuck in the pot, some glaze chips to foliate areas of handle, restoration to area around the spout, saucer professionally restored to the rim, mug has been professionally restored)
