An unusual Victorian Tunbridge ware sewing box, 19th century. Incorporated with a central hinged cover mounted with a large pin cushion opening to reveal a compartment flanked by two smaller storage compartments. The tapered body of rectangular form with a florally decorated band supported on bun feet with parquetry decoration. 4.3 in (11 cm) height, 9.2 in (23.5 cm) width, 4.2 in (10.8 cm) depth.
Condition report: Some minor wear with age. Incised mark to one band. No key provided.
