WW1 Memorial Plaque to Herbert Leonard Robinson, it has possibly been in a mount, slight damage to edge at 3 & 9 o'clock, nearly very fine. A unique name on CWGC, 6548 Pte Robinson was killed in action with 6th Bn Australian Infantry on 4th October 1917 and with no known grave is commemorated on the Menin Gate.
With copied CWGC and 3 pages of service papers, he enlisted 28/8/16 aged 23 while living in Berwick, Victoria, embarked Melbourne 2/10/16, arrived France 17/2/17.
Sold with A.I.F. Returned From Active Service badge No 68265 and Volunteered For Active Service Medically Unfit badge No 85780. (R)
