A section of Mansfield and Pinxton Railway fish belly rail, marked with the company name. The line linked Mansfield with the Cromford Canal at Pinxton. It opened in 1819 as a horse-drawn tramway and was absorbed by the Midland Railway in 1847 and converted for locomotive use. Cast iron, length 39", the name picked out in white. (Postage Band: N/A)
