A group of WWI and slightly later photographs of Palestine, including Jerusalem, some on American Colony Jerusalem photographic paper and group portraits of serving soldiers collected by Charlie Surch of the Royal Munster Fusiliers, who was appointed to Lord Allenby as his bodyguard, together with a pair of travelling olivewood candlesticks and goblets collected by the same. Provenance: Charlie Surch was the grandfather of the present vendor and these items have been passed down through the family.
