An extremely fine 19th Century mahogany pedestal Desk, in the Chippendale Revival style, the crossbanded rectangular top with a tooled leather writing surface and a double inverted breakfront top, with an ornate frieze with carved and interlaced pattern and flower heads, incorporating three mock and three frieze drawers raised on two very ornate panelled pedestals, each with four cluster columns one to each corner, and with three drawers to either side and with three opposing mock drawers, the inner and outer pedestal sides with ornate carvings and mouldings, all raised on two leaf carved and moulded plinths with rounded corners, 76cms x 147cms (30'' x 58'').
