Approximately one third of the brim of the hat, at the front, has been broken and restuck with three cracks visible on the top of the brim, and restoration evident in the same place on the underside of the brim. There is also a tiny chip to the edge of the brim of the hat above the right ear. Both his hands, the ruff at his right wrist, and a good half of the violin including the neck and bow have been restored.
His tail has been restored.
There is a chip to the underside of the fourth toe of his right foot.
