Very good copies slight damage to spines, 12mo, 1654. Bookplates of Edward & Marianne Heron - Allen. * this is all of Pallavicino's Permitted Works. He had many books placed on the index of Prohibited Books by the Church, who deemed them anti-social and profane. Because of this a price was put on his head and eventually he was betrayed and beheaded. This set in contemporary state would appear to be quiet rare.
