This baby elephant was shackled to a tree for two weeks, as she grew the shackle got tighter and tighter. She was found in unbelievable stress and very thin. Just in time the shackle was cut from her back right leg and green anti-septic spray applied to her sores. Image captured during the first few minutes at the elephant sanctuary in Udawalawa, Sri Lanka
