AN ARTS & CRAFTS BROOCH
made by Edmund Thomas Wyatt Ware (1883-1960) the white metal brooch is set with a Ruskin ceramic plaque in turquoise mottled glaze, further set with six round moonstones. Dimensions 4cm x 2.1cm. The back is stamped with his makers mark ETWW, weight 8.8gms.
Ware taught goldsmithing and Jewellery at Central School of Art & Design in London, and was a fellow of The Royal Society of British Sculptors.
