German Third Reich NPEA Student Service dagger with frog by Karl Burgsmuller, Berlin. A fine rare example modelled on the SA dagger. The blade is etched with the motto Mehr sein als scheinef and bears maker details. Brown wooden grip with nickel crossguard PL62 and top guard engraved N.P.E.A.PLON -Ostern 1936; housed in its olive drab painted regulation scabbard which is complete with original brown leather frog. Minor service wear, generally VGC.
