Phillips Barrett, William (1861-1938) bookplates, bound within red cloth with the Royal initials MR and crown (Queen Mary), engraved bookplate for Queen Mary, for George Frederick Ernest Albert, Prince of Wales, bookplate for Queen Alexandra with two letters, one from York Cottage Sandringham, 'The lady in waiting is commanded by the Queen to thank Mr Philips Barrett mostly gratefully for the beautiful collection of ex-libris ...', December 29th 1924 and another 'Dear Sir, the Queen commands me to thank you very much for your letter to say that Her Majesty will be delighted to have the prints of new ex-libris which are now being engraved,  yours truly Bertha Dawkins', Bertha Dawkins was lady in waiting to Queen Mary for many years, before her marriage she was Lady Bertha Wilbraham.  Now a widow and lady in waiting and confidante to the queen. Bookplate for Elizabeth Duchess of York, Oliver Nowell Chadwyck-Healey, a letter from 10 Carlton House from Cowdrey, dated 7th Jan 1924 to Mr Barrett and another letter from the Countess of Strathmore dated 1925 - a curiosity
