A Victorian Officer's Queens Own Cameron Highlanders Sporran, Edinburgh 1895 by Hamilton & Inches, engraved with an heraldic symbol of an embowed proper arm brandishing a sword, the silver gilt cantle deeply chased with thistles and oak leaves with acorn, surrounding regimental badge with Peninsula, Egypt and Waterloo battle honours with ribbon, the horse hair body with six gilt bullion and blue silk tassels, red morocco leather backing, cantle 19.5cm wide, overall length of sporran 48cm
Condition good- just one tassel has one coil at fault. Otherwise lovely. Same private deceased estate as lots 281 and 283.
