Anglo-Saxon Silver Gilt Coin Brooch. Circa 11th century CE. 1.49g. 19mm. Made from an Aethelred II, helmet type penny minted in London. Fragmented with only part of the pin arrangement surviving. From a private collection, purchased in the mid 1980's.
