1922-36 GROUP OF MAIL - Jan. 1922 env. (damaged) to NY with GB 2d orange in the two-month period prior to ovpt values; Feb./May 1922 pair of envs. with 2d orange ovpts showing change from Dublin to Baile 'Atha Cliath' in the date portion of the machine cancel; July 1922 part front sent reg. with ½d to 2½d ovptd values all tied by FULHAM cds; July 1922 env. to Manchester with ½d green ovpt plus 1½d brown without ovpt though untaxed; Dec. 1922 env. to Dublin with ½d green ovpt plus ½d green no ovpt both tied by emergency Krag machine cancel; 1923 wrapper apparently ex GB to Dublin with GB ½d green cancelled on arrival; Sep. 1923 pair of Swiss 2c envs. sent reg. with ovptd values added on arrival, both with 1910 Bern Exhibition labels on the flap; 1923 GB 1½d brown PC to USA with 'LEARN IRISH' cancel; 1936 env. to Wales with GB 1d red pair ovptd rare (though doubtful at this date) 'IRISH/FREE STATE/PROV. GOVT.'; and undated env. to Dublin with GB 4d orange not allowed for postage so endorsed '4d to pay' but no other markings. Also small range of Irish issues inc. 1926/33 envs. with black or violet skeleton cancels, and 1927 ½d green wrapper used to Switzerland. (23 items)
