Allan Valas (British, 20th century) A large original oil on canvas painting. Features a summer riverside landscape scene with thatched cottage. Rendered in impressionistic brushstrokes with lots of texture to trees and foliage. Signed lower right. Housed in a wooden gilt frame. Small damage to centre of canvas that does not take away the charm of the painting.
