A pair of French bronze and ormolu figural candelabra, after Clodion. 19th century, modelled as two youthful Bacchanalian cherubs, supporting spiral fluted gilt branches, on fluted columns and rouge marble square bases, height 45cm. By family repute originally from Memtmore Towers, Buckinghamshire, although there is no documentary evidence to support this.
