A PAIR OF 19TH CENTURY COPELAND PARIAN FIGURES OF A BOULOGNE FISHERMAN AND HIS COMPANION, modelled as standing on circular bases, impressed mark to rear of figures, height 19cm and a pair of 19th century Copeland parian figures of sleeping child in cot and companion, both with impressed horse shoe mark and factory mark to base, height 8cm x length 15cm (4) (Condition Report: the fisherman is in good order, there is a name inscribed onto the base, the lady companion has been broken off at the back of her skirt hem and has been glued back on, the top of the pole is missing, the infant boy has nibbles to the fingers and toes outside of the cradle, also two firing cracks around the base of the cradle, the girl infant has a glued repair to her ankle, chipped toes, small firing crack by hand of extended arm, also small chip to thumb and fabric clutched in the hand, there is a substantial chip to the edge and underside of the cradle, both cradles have a circular shape in the base and white overpainting)
