A late 19th century Indo-Persian flintlock musket: the 44 1/2 inch octagonal Damascus barrel with three broad niello work bands, makers' proof mark stamped to breech with traces of gilt highlights, the sidelock action embellished with niello decoration with matching ball trigger, on a full hide mounted stick with further niello work embellishments, signed to finger plate on underside of stock, with steel ram rod and ivory butt cap, 144cm long. * Notes (Exemption reference FXLJKBMT)
