A mid 17c ecclesiastical glass beaker with milled base, a/f, museum type repair to base, 20cm h - The inscription on the beaker in 17c French script translates in part to read... 'After having well ordained our church and convent. Being well done and completed ............ often with this glass or golden goblet. To the health of us all, good donors and .......... Father Servais inventor and author, 1654'.

Appears to have been reglued. there is one small shard missing just to the surface. Nothing has been replaced. There is a crack around the base.
