Of Coaching Interest: A silver rectangular cigar box with applied gilt lettering to the lid 'Telegraph', silver-gilt interior, London 1891, maker's mark for Wright & Davies, 14 cm wide, 8.5 cm deep, 2.5 cm high, 8.6 oz total weight, presented to Tom Harveyson, Proprietor Coachman of the 'Telegraph' coach, by J J Anderson in September 1891, this coach ran daily from Hotel Victoria, London to the 'Dimsdale Arms', Hertford, via Finchley, Barnet, Potters Bar and Hatfield; a silver and enamel vesta case, London 1889, maker's mark for Wright & Davies, with portrait of Jim Selby on one side, the reverse 'Old Times Coach' crossing Haywards Heath on the way to Brighton (enamel chipped to one side), 6 x 3 cm; and a plated pebble shape snuff box, inscribed 'From H.W.to Tom Harveyson Old Times1896, 9 x 5.5 cm
