Army Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, VR third type (1875-1901). Named to 2312 Sergt J Souter Depot Battery 10 th Brigade RA. Sergeant Souter was born in Govan, Glasgow in 1841 and served for 21 years in the Royal Artillery. This LSGC, awarded in 1882, is his sole medal entitlement. With biographical notes and copies
of his Record of Service and pension papers. Very Fine condition.
