A 10 bore Brown Bess flintlock musket, 53½" overall, barrel 38" with brazed on fore sight, early style rounded lock engraved with crowned "GR" and "Tower" and with later ring neck cock, the New Land Pattern style stock having later type brass mounts, sling swivels and steel ramrod, the butt inset with a brass disc engraved with Indian characters. WO & Quite GC (much worn overall, 13" of the fore end replaced). £300-350
