A 1920s hallmarked silver and tortoiseshell leather cased travelling vanity set. The suite to include hallmarked silver piqu work mounted tortoiseshell grooming items. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1922, makers mark for Adie Brother Ltd. Vanity items comprising a hand mirror, two hair brushes, two clothes brushes, 4 various containers, a scent bottle, a manicure set, together with a jewellery box, an ink well, a vesta and a notepad. The travel case in a rich dark mahogany leather having a fitted silk lined interior with gold metal fittings and embossed gilt monogram to lid. The case having an outer canvas cover.ÿ Measurements approx 19cm x 50cm x 37cm.
