Small Swiss walnut cased music box, playing on three airs, labelled to the underside of the hinged cover with the titles and numbered 498, the base plate of the movement also stamped 498, 5" wide, 3.5" deep, 2.25" high (glass panel at fault)
The movement is at fault, it does wind and the movement runs most cogs but does not appear to engage the barrel, could do with a service and a good clean, the comb looks in good order, however, glass broken to the top panel, minor losses around the case and veneer, attention needed.
