A fine antique Persian Kirman carpet, with Arabic poem woven to six medallions in the wide dark blue border, pink ground decorated centrally with various scrolling motifs and further script, around a small central dark blue medallion, wide border and two flanking narrow floral and herati motif borders, and with twin dragons to each corner, 205 by 141cm. Provenance: The Estate of Mr Joseph B. Hay, son of Major-General Arthur K. Hay DSO OBE - 100 years of a military family.
