The paint surface appears to be in good condition with the colours clean and reasonably bright, although they may have faded somewhat over time. The frame shows wear, surface scratching and tarnishing commensurate with age. The blue surround shows an area of protruding fabric in the bottom right quadrant. The vacant aperture verso shows evidence of insect activity.
