A Chinese silvered bronze circular 'lion and grapevine' mirror, Tang Dynasty, 中国，铜镀银圆镜一个，唐代 cast with a central knop in the shape of a crouching lion, encircled by four further lions, all amidst scrolling grapevine, the outer circle with birds flying amongst fruiting grapevines, all framed by a small trefoil cloud border, 9.8cm diameter
